Our Company
McGraw's Custom Construction is a Southeast Alaska bases general contractor that
performs work throughout southeast Alaska and on Kodiak Island. We are primarily
involved with general building construction with experience in numerous types of

History
McGraw
’s Custom Construction, Inc. was incorporated by Chuck
McGraw
in
Alaska
in 1978. Chuck
McGraw
is the 100% shareholder of
McGraw
’s Custom Construction.
McGraw
’s Custom Construction started out primarily in residential construction,
constructing homes in the
Sitka
area. However, by 1980
McGraw
’s Custom Construction was moving into the commercial construction arena.
During the first portion of te 1980’s
McGraw
’s Custom Construction slowly got out of the residential construction market
and into the commercial and industrial construction market. In 1984,
McGraw
’s Custom Construction began taking on multiple projects. At this time Chuck
McGraw
performed all of
McGraw
’s Custom Construction office administration tasks, in addition to all project
supervision.
In 1985
McGraw
’s Custom Construction was awarded its first contract outside of
Sitka
. The project was a fish hatchery located in a remote location south of
Juneau
.
McGraw
’s Custom Construction continued to expand and perform projects all over
Southeast Alaska
throughout the late 1980’s and by 1991 was working in
Sitka
,
Ketchikan
, Craig, and Kodiak
Alaska
.
Throughout the 1990’s
McGraw
’s Custom Construction continued to increase its workload throughout southeast
Alaska
and
Kodiak Island
and today has an average annual gross income of approximately
$20,000,000.
